Peter Chenoweth of LRS® Retirement Solutions presented at the National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems (NCPERS) annual Chief Officers Summit from June 19-21 in Denver, Colorado. He collaborated with Jeff Mills of Segal and Bill Betts of Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System to craft a “Cybersecurity: Lessons Learned from Failures and Successes” session for CIO and CEO attendees.

Jeff Mills discussed key issues they are seeing from various pension system consultants’ point of view. Bill Betts shared several real-world examples of incidents during his tenure at several funds. Peter Chenoweth provided examples of security challenges LRS customers have faced and offered tips and best practice questions that attendees should ask their pension administration software vendors.  The session was well attended and feedback from attendees was positive.
